On April 4, FEC hosted a welcoming breakfast meeting at the Hotel New Otani Tokyo for H.E. Dr. Massoumeh EBTEKAR, Vice President and Head of the Department of Environment, Islamic Republic of Iran, who was on a visit to Japan. 5 Iranian party attended the meeting, including H.E. Dr. Massoumeh EBTEKAR, Vice President and Head of the Department of Environment, H.E. Dr. Reza NAZAR AHARI, Ambassador of Iran and Mr. Seyed Mohammad MOJABI, Deputy of Management, Legal and Parliamentarian Development, Department of Environment. From FEC, President Ken Matsuzawa, Mr. Hiroshi Saito, Chairman of FEC Japan-Middle East Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee, Honorary Advisor, of Mizuho Financial Group, Inc and other 4 members attended. Vice President Dr. Massoumeh EBTEKAR appreciated the useful exchange of opinions on water disposal and air pollution matters with the Japanese attendants of the related industry.
President Matsuzawa made a welcome speech,” On behalf of FEC I would like to welcome Dr. Massoumeh EBTEKAR and ,your party from the bottom of my heart. I understand that Vice President EBTEKAR is one of the Iranian leaders, bearing a lot of the responsibility at the Rouhani government. Today we have representatives from leading Japanese companies specializing in water disposal and air pollution, therefore I hope that today’s meeting will enhance our economic relations through the frank exchange of views.”
Vice President EBTEKAR stated, “Mr.Matsuzawa, I appreciate your warm welcome and am very happy to meet you and the attendants of well-known Japanese companies today. During my visit, I was impressed to know that Japan’s progress was achieved by the tremendous efforts of Japanese companies, considering also environmental aspects. We, with strong will, are visiting Japan and look forward to frank exchange of opinions with Japanese companies. Iranian delegationreported the current environmental situation in Iran, followed by commemorative photograph taking and business card exchange.
