FEC

FEC sent the 3^rd FEC Delegation to Mongolia from July 29 to August 4, 2013, headed by Mr. Naohiko Ito, Chairman of FEC Japan-Mongolia Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee. (Corporate Adviser of Japan Freight Railway Co., Ltd,)

The mission was dispatched to support the good relations between Japan and Mongolia. 12 FEC members contributed to the enhancement of the mutual understanding through the meetings with high-ranking officials, visiting a high school and enjoying a local dance performance. The fruitful visit was successful and strengthened the bilateral relationship.

〈29th Jul.〉　PM=Depart from Narita for Ulaanbaatar.

〈30th〉 AM=Briefing a local situation and Lunch hosted by Mr. Shinichiro Hayashi, Counsellor of Embassy of Japan in Mongolia.

PM=Courtesy Call on Deputy Prime Minister, H. E. Mr. Dendev Terbishdagva. Meeting with Minister of Nature, Environment and Green Development, H. E. Ms. Sanjaasuren Oyun. Meeting with Vice Minister for Finance, H. E. Mr. Surenjav Purev.

〈31st〉 AM=Meeting with Minister of Health, H. E. Dr. Natsag Udval. Meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs, H. E. Mr. Luvsanvandan Bold. Meeting with Minister of Mining, H. E. Mr. Davaajav Gankhuyag.

PM=Welcome luncheon hosted by Bataa Munkhjagal’s family. Meeting with Deputy Minister for Economic Development, H. E. Mr. Ochirbat Chuluunbat. Meeting with Minister for Road and Transportation, H. E. Mr. Amarjargal Gansukh.

〈1st Aug.〉　PM= Lunch with Deputy Minister of Health, H. E. Dr. Jazag Amarsanaa. Meeting with Mr. Batshugar Enkhbayar, Deputy Governor of The Bank of Mongolia. Visit to Shine Mongol high school. Watching the ensemble Mongolian National song and dance “Tumen Ekh”.

〈2nd〉 AM=Visit to the Japanese Cemetary park.

PM=Meeting with Minister for Construction and Urban Development, H. E. Mr. Tsevelmaa Bayarsaikhan. Meeting with Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism, H. E. Ms. Tsedevdamba Oyungerel. Courtesy Call on Prime Minister, H. E. Mr. Norov Altankhuyag. Dinner with North-East Asia Association.

〈3rd〉 AM=Sightseeing (Gandan Temple, National Museum, Railway Naadam)

PM=Dinner hosted by Mr. Ito, Leader of the Delegation.
