FEC invited H.E.Mr. Bruce Miller, Ambassador of Australia, for an Executive Luncheon Meeting at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo on July 23. Ambassador Miller’s interest in Japan started 35 years ago ,when he visited the country on an exchange program sponsored by the Japan Foundation. He studied Japanese, Japanese literature, and Japanese history, while studying law at the Sydney university. He spent about 12 years in Japan including three diplomatic assignments. He is a widely accepted Japanophile. The participants enjoyed lunch, having a friendly talk. Following the welcome speech of FEC President Mr. Matsuzawa,  Ambassador Miller talked in fluent Japanese on the topic of “The current situation of Australia and future prospects of Japan-Australia relationship”. There were active Q&As and discussions after the speech.
