The 7th Japan-Viet Nam Economic Dialogue

The 7th Japan-Viet Nam Economic Dialogue was jointly organized by FEC and the Viet Nam Embassy in Japan at the Viet Nam Embassy on July 18. The Dialogue was held as Japan-Viet Nam friendship year commemoration event. More than 120 people attended including 20 people from Viet Nam headed by Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, Director General of The Viet Nam Institute of Economy and Special Economic Advisor to Prime Minister Dung. From Japanese side Mr. Ken Matsuzawa, President of FEC, Mr. Yoshihiko Nakagaki, Chairman of Japan–Viet Nam Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee, Corporate Adviser of Electric Power Development Co., Ltd, FEC Executives and representatives of member companies and so on. After opening remarks of Viet Nam Ambassador Hung and FEC president Matsuzawa, Dr. Thien made a speech on “Recent Viet Nam Economic Trend and New Policies for Foreign Direct Investment”. Prof. Etsuro Honda, Special Advisor to the Cabinet of Japan spoke about “Revitalizing Japan by Abenomics”. Short Presentations from 2 Vietnamese Companies and 2 Japanese Companies were follwed on incentives for Japanese investments, business environment in Viet Nam. After closing of the Seminar, the attendant took a commemorative photograph and moved to the Exchange Party hosted by Ambassador Hung . The participants deepened friendship by exchanging name cards and opinions’, enjoying delicious Vietnamese food.
