FEC hosted Tokyo International Seminar at Hotel New Otani Tokyo on April 18, inviting H.E. Mr. Kairat Mami, Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan as main speaker.

Mr. Ken Matsuzawa, President of FEC made an opening speech as follows, “I expect further development of bilateral economic relations after the substantial agreement on Japan- Kazakhstan investment pact in February. I appreciate the strong support of Ambassador Kamaldinov on people diplomacy. I wish much more development of friendship, economic relations, education and cultural exchanges of two countries.

H.E. Mr. Kairat Mami spoke about current situation of Kazakhstan, strategic goal of national development plan, bilateral relations and so on. After the speech he responded politely to attendants’ questions and opinions on cultural exchange, desirable Japanese investment and technology. The Seminar was participated by 200 people including H. E.Mr.Kamaldinov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan and FEC members.
