Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Japan

The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan held an exchange gathering with the Ladies’ Group of the International Friendship Exchange Council (LFEC) in Tokyo on October 5, 2012.
Addressing the function, H. E. Mr. Doan Xuan Hung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in Japan along with his wife expressed his hope that the exchange will help LFEC members get a better understanding about the land, people, art and culture of Vietnam, thus contributing to fostering friendship and mutual trust between the two peoples in general and the two countries women in particular. The female participants from the Vietnamese side were dressed in the national costume Ao dai as Ms.Kumiko Oguri, musician, played a Vietnamese musical instrument in a friendly atmosphere.
In addition, Vietnamese luncheon such as pho and spring rolls was served by a dedicated cook at the Vietnamese embassy.
Participants in the event had a chance to see films on the land, culture, music and people of Vietnam as well as to discuss issues of common concern.
