FEC

FEC sent the 7^th FEC Delegation to Viet Nam from 1^st to 8^th December 2012. The delegation, headed by Mr. Yoshihiko Nakagaki, Chairman of FEC Japan – Viet Nam Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (Corporate Adviser and Former President of Electric Power Development Co., Ltd) consisted of 15 FEC members.

The visit on the edge of “Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Year” in 2013 was timely and strengthened the relationship between FEC and Viet Nam.

In Hanoi, the members had fruitful exchanges of views with high-ranking officials including H. E. President Truong Tan Sang and cabinet members including H. E. Mr. Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Industry and Trade. The members also visited 4 industrial parks (Dinh Bu, VSIP Hai Phong, Thanh Long, Nhon Track 3) and inspected infrastructure development in Dong Nai Province. It was a meaningful opportunity for the members to extend their knowledge about the condition of infrastructure development and investment environment.

〈2nd〉　AM＝Depart from Hanoi for Hai Phong. Meeting and Lunch with Mr. Dan Duc Hiep, First Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee.
PM=Visit to VSIP Hai Phong industrial park and Dinh Vu industrial park. Depart from Hai Phong for Hanoi
〈3rd〉　AM＝Sightseeing. Lunch hosted by H. E. Mr. Yasuaki Tanizaki, Ambassador of Japan to Viet Nam.
PM＝Meeting with Vice Minister of Health, H. E. Dr. Nguyen Viet Tien. Meeting with Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, H. E. Dr. Nguyen Thi Xuan Thu.

PM＝Depart from Hanoi for Ho Chi Minh. Dinner hosted by Mr. Harumitsu Hida, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City.

PM＝Visit to The Japanese Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City. Meeting with Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Mr. Le Manh Ha.

〈7th〉　AM＝Depart from Ho Chi Minh for Dong Nai Province. Visit to Soltec Vietnam and Plus Vietnam.

PM＝Inspect Infrastructure Environment in Dong Nai Province. Meeting with Vice Chairperson of People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province, Ms. Phan Thi My Thanh. Depart from Dong Nai Province for Ho Chi Minh. Depart from Ho Chi Minh for Narita.
