FEC held the 78th FEC ASEAN Study Group Meeting (Business Forum)  on May 25 at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Tokyo in the presence of H.E. Dr. Heli Akhmadi, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Japan, and H.E. Mr. Tri Purnajaya, Chief Minister of the Republic of Indonesia. Mr. Etsuhiro Takatou, Chairman of the FEC-Japan ASEAN Cultural and Economic Committee (Director of Ajinomoto Co., Ltd.), spoke on behalf of the committee, saying, “Japan is Indonesia’s largest export partner and Indonesia is Japan’s important supplier of natural resources, including natural gas. We would like to continue to cherish the relationship between our two countries and deepen our exchanges,”  before moving on to Ambassador Akhmadi’s speech.
