FEC and the Mongolian Embassy co-organized the “Mongolia Investment Seminar” at the Mongolian Embassy on January 31. This seminar was held for the second time since September last year. The seminar was attended by about 20 representatives from companies interested in Mongolia. Mr. Yasuhisa Fukuda, Chairman of FEC Japan-Mongolia Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (President and Representative Director, SENKO Group Holdings Co., Ltd.) made opening remarks and said, ” Currently, Japan has a large surplus in trade with Mongolia. Logistics is a major bottleneck for inland Mongolia. We hope to find a solution and make trade between the two countries even more active.” Following the speech of Mongolian Ambassador Dambadarjaa Batjargal, there were active exchange of opinions based on the prior questions received from Japanese participants. It was a meaningful seminar.
