FEC

FEC sent the 12th FEC Delegation to India from November 2 for 8 days. The delegation, consisting of 12 FEC members, was led by Mr. Kenichi Watanabe, Chairman of FEC Japan-India Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (Senior Advisor to the Board, Nomura Holdings,Inc.), and Mr. Hiroshi Hirabayashi, Advisor of FEC Japan-India Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (President of The Japan-India Association) joined as Advisor. The Delegation visited Delhi and Bengaluru.During the stay in Delhi, FEC Delegation visited Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation, and so on for useful exchanging views with high rank officers. They also visited Neemrana New Industrial Complex and had meetings with representatives of Japanese companies. Japanese Ambassador Mr. Suzuki hosted a dinner and gave a briefing for the Delegation. In Bengaluru, they visited National Association of Software & Service Companies, and they had a dinner meeting with Mr. Kitagawa, Japanese Consul-General in Bengaluru.

Prior to departure, the Delegation had a chance to get a briefing from a senior officer of Japanese MOFA on the latest information about India.
