FEC

FEC sent the 21st FEC ASEAN Delegation to Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar from 10th to 16th March. The delegation, consisting of 12 members, was led by Mr. Norio Yamaguchi, Chairman of FEC Japan-ASEAN Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (Senior Corporate Advisor of AJINOMOTO Co., Inc.) and Mr. Hiroyuki Yushita, Senior Managing Director of FEC joined as Advisor. The Delegation visited Phnom Penh, Bangkok and Yangon.

In Phnom Penh, the Delegation made a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and had meetings with Mr. Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, Dr. Hean Sahib, Permanent Vice Chairman, Supreme National Economic Council (SNEC), and Mr. Norimasa Yamazaki, Chairman of Japanese Business Association of Cambodia (JBAC).They had a briefing dinner meeting hosted by Japanese Ambassador in Cambodia,Mr. Hidehisa Horinouchi. In Bangkok, they attended a briefing lunch hosted by Japanese Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Shiro Sadoshima.They also made a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister. In Yangon, they visited Nittsu Logistics Myanmar Co., Ltd.,and Myanmar Ajinomoto Foods CO., LTD. They had meetings with Mr. Aung Naing Oo, Director General, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, and Mr. Kunio Negishi, President of Chairman of Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Myanmar (JCCM).They were also invited to a briefing dinner hosted by Japanese Ambassador in Myanmar, Mr. Ichiro Maruyama.

Dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. Hidehisa Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia.

〈12th Mar.〉Courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Visit to Aeon Sen Sok City (AEON Mall Cambodia). Tour of the Cambodian silk shop. Meeting with Dr. Hean Sahib, Permanent Vice Chairman, Supreme National Economic Council (SNEC). Depart from Phnom Penh for Bangkok / Arrive at Bangkok

〈13th Mar.〉Lunch hosted by H.E. Mr. Shiro Sadoshima, Ambassador of Japan to Thailand. Courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand. Depart from Bangkok for Yangon / Arrive at Yangon

〈15th Mar.〉Tours of the Sule Pagoda and the Myanmar Plaza. Meeting with Mr. Aung Naing Oo, Director General, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration.

Depart from Yangon for Tokyo
