FEC

On February 19, FEC held an Executive Luncheon Meeting at the Vietnam Embassy thanks to the kindness of H.E.Mr. Vu Hong Nam, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. The meeting was held on the theme of“Current status of Viet Nam politics and economy, expectation to Japan and Japanese companies”. Mr. Yoshihiko Nakagaki, Vice Chairman of FEC, Chairman of FEC Japan-Viet Nam Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (Honorary Counselor of Electric Power Development Co.) made an opening remark and said, “Vietnam has achieved high growth. GDP has expanded tenfold as compared to ten years ago, and exports are steadily increasing. The second U.S. and North Korea summit meeting this month will be held in Hanoi. I am looking forward to hearing recent situation of Vietnam and their expectations for Japan.” Then Ambassador Vu Hong Nam made a speech.
