On December 11, FEC held an Executive Luncheon Meeting at the Uzbekistan Embassy thanks to the kindness of H.E. Mr. Gayrat Fazilov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Mr. Kenichi Matsumoto, Chairman of FEC Japan-Central Asia & Caucasus Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee, CEO of Sakura Global Holding Co., Ltd. made a welcome remark and said, “Under the new president and the new administration, the entry visa for Japanese people was exempted from February 2018. Also, a medical university (Tashkent) is scheduled to open. The new administration is making efforts to develop human resources. The opportunities for the Japanese government and the private sector to cooperate will increase.”　AmbassadorFazilov made a speech on the theme of “New business opportunities in Uzbekistan”.
