FEC invited H. E. Mr. Aart Jacobi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to an Executive Luncheon Meeting at the Hotel Okura Tokyo on March 14. The meeting was held on the theme of “Development of the EU and role of the Netherlands”. After having lunch together in a cordial atmosphere, Mr. Yasuo Saito, Advisor of FEC Japan-Europe Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee made a welcome remark and said, “As a founding member of the EU, the Netherlands plays a global role in many fields. At the timing of the lower house election, we look forward to hearing from Ambassador Jacobi on the Netherlands’ domestic situation and the development of the EU and so on. ” Ambassador Jacobi made a speech followed by active Q&As.
