FEC invited H. E. Mr. Sodovjamts Khurelbaatar, Ambassador of Mongolia, to an Executive Luncheon Meeting at Imperial Hotel Tokyo on September 9. The meeting was held on the theme of “Trends under the new Mongolian government and prospects for cooperative relations between Japan and Mongolia”.Mr. Naohiko Ito, Chairman of FEC Japan-Mongolia Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee, Honorary Senior Adviser of Japan Freight Railway Co., Ltd. made a welcome remark and said, “Ambassador Khurelbaatar speaks quite frankly and clearly about Mongolia and also about the relationship between Mongolia and Japan.A new administration was launched after the election in June. FEC delegation expects to meet new cabinet members when we visit your country this month. I would like to visit with a feeling of steadily advancing the relationship between Mongolia and Japan in the future.”Then, Ambassador Khurelbaatar made aspeech on the Mongolian general elections, the new administration, and current status and future prospects of Mongolia – Japan relationship.
