FEC

FEC sent the 10th FEC Delegation to India from January 25 to February 2. The delegation, headed by Mr.Kenichi Watanabe, Chairman of FEC Japan-India Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee, Senior Advisor to the Board, Nomura Holdings, Inc., consisted of 13 FEC members. The Delegation visited Delhi and Hyderabad.

In Delhi, They viewed the parade ceremony of the Indian Republic Day. They had various fruitful exchanges of views with Mr. Prabhu, Minister of Railways, Mr. Goyal, Minister of State for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy, Mr. Rijiju, Minister of State for Home Affairs, and other high-ranking government officials. They were also invited to a luncheon meeting by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In Hyderabad, They had a meeting with Prof. Desai, Director of Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and visited TPSC (India) Private Ltd.

PM= Meeting with Mr. Piyush Goyal, Minister of State for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy. Meeting with Mr.Suresh Prabbu, Minister of Railways. Dinner hosted by Mr.Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to India.

〈Jan 28〉AM=Meeting with Mr. Kiran Rijiju, Minister of State for Home Affairs. Meeting with Mr. J.S.Deepak, Secretary, Ministry of Communications & IT.

PM= Depart from Delhi for Hyderabad.

〈Jan 29〉AM=Meeting with Dr.Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana.

PM=Visit Birla Temple and Charninar.

〈Jan 30〉PM= Meeting with Prof. UB. Desai, Director of Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Visit TPSC (India) Private Ltd.Dinner hosted by Mr. Kenichi Watanabe, Leader of the delegation.
