FEC invited H. E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to an Executive Luncheon Meeting at the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo on November 17. The meeting was held on the theme of  “Current Status of Thailand, Future Prospects of Thailand-Japan Relationship”. Mr. Norio Yamaguchi, Vice Chairman of FEC and Chairman of FEC Japan-ASEAN Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee, Senior Corporate Advisor of AJINOMOTO Co., Inc. said in his welcome speech, ” Outline of the TPP was agreed and signed in October and the AEC (ASEAN Economic Community) will be launched by the end of this year. I think we need to have the global perspective for acting in the economic community. I will appreciate it if you could give us some hint on how to cooperate with Thailand and challenge the issues in the new environment.”

Ambassador Sihasak made a speech, focusing on various topics including the general bilateral relationship, the government measures after the coup and investment environment in Thailand.
