FEC

FEC sent the 10th FEC Delegation to Viet Nam from November 1 for 8 days. The delegation, headed by Mr. Yoshihiko Nakagaki, Chairman of FEC Japan – Viet Nam Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (Honorary Counselor of Electric Power Development Co., Ltd.), consisted of 16 FEC members. The Delegation visited Hanoi, Quang Ngai, Quang Nam and Ho Chi Minh.

They continuously held the courtesy meetings with President H. E. Mr. Truong Tan Sang for five years. FEC Delegation had various fruitful exchanges of views with high-ranking government officials including H. E. Mr. Dinh La Thang, Minister of Transport and H. E. Mr. Nguyen Chi Dzung, Vice Minister of Planning and Investment. In Quang Ngai and Quang Nam, they had meetings with executives of People’s Committees and also visited Dung Quat Economic Zone and Chu Lai Open Economic Zone. It was a meaningful opportunity for the members to deepen the overall understanding of Viet Nam.

〈1st Nov.〉　AM=Depart from Haneda for Hanoi.

PM= Sightseeing in Hanoi.

〈2nd〉　AM= Visit Times City and Lotte Center in Hanoi.

PM= Meeting with H. E. Mr. Dinh La Thang, Minister of Transport. Dinner hosted by Mr. Hiroshi Fukada, Ambassador, Embassy of Japan and there were representatives of the Japan Business Association in Vietnam present.

〈3rd〉　AM= Free time.

PM= Meeting with H. E. Mr. Mr. Nguyen Chi Dzung, Vice Minister of Planning and Investment. Courtesy call on H. E. Mr. Truong Tan Sang, President of Viet Nam.

〈4th〉　AM= Meeting with H. E. Mr. Nguen Cam Tu, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. Meeting with H. E. Mr. Truong Chi Trung, Vice Minister of Ministry of Finance.

PM= Visit Vietnam History Museum. Depart from Hanoi for Da Nang.

〈5th〉　AM=Meeting with representatives of the Dung Quat Economic Zone Authority.

PM= Visit Binhson Refining & Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park J. V., Co., Ltd., and Foster Electric Co., Ltd. Dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. Tran Ngoc Cang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai Province.

〈6th〉　AM= Meeting with H.E. Mr. Tran Ngoc Cang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai Province, Mr. Le Van Dung, Vice Chairman and Mr. Tran Van Man, Vice Chairman of the Dung Quat Economic Zone Authority. Lunch hosted by the Authority of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.

PM=Meeting with Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province. Sightseeing in Hoi An. Depart from Da Nang for Ho Chi Minh.

〈7th〉　AM= Free time. Lunch hosted by Mr. Satoshi Nakajima, Consul General of Japan in HCMC. Depart from Ho Chi Minh for Narita.

〈8th〉　AM= Arrive at Narita International Airport.
