FEC held the LFEC India Forum at Nagoya Meitetsu Grand Hotel on August 27. FEC plans to send an LFEC Delegation to India in January or February 2016. The Forum was organized for the purpose of promoting interest about India among the Chubu District female members. Ms. Ayako Kuki, Representative of Chubu LFEC, welcomed Mr. Amit Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India in Japan, and made an opening remarks, “ I hope that many of the participants will be interested in India and the Forum will contribute to promote Japan-India friendship.” Prior to the lecture, a short movie to introduce India was screened.
Mr. Amit Kumar made a presentation using slides on the overview of India and empowerment of women in India. After his speech, there were active Q&As.
