Executive Luncheon Meeting in honor of H.E.Mr.Thierry Dana, Ambassador of the French Republic

FEC invited H.E. Mr.Thierry Dana, Ambassador of France to an Executive Luncheon Meeting at the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo on May 20. The meeting was held on the theme of “Current situation and future prospects of France – Japan relations”. Mr. Hiromichi Fujita, Chairman of FEC Japan-Europe Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee, Executive Advisor and Former Chairman of Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. said in his welcome speech, ” In recent years, we can see progress of active cooperation between Japanese and French companies in the field of green innovation. I would like to say that both countries are expected to lead the world in a global environment and energy surface. In the changing international environment, I am very glad to be able to hear Ambassador Dana’s view today.” Ambassador Dana thanked the invitation to the meeting and made a speech about overall France-Japan relations, focusing on various topics including the initiatives of innovation, forthcoming Prime Minister Valls’ visit to Japan and COP21 (the 21st Conference of the Parties) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
