On April 21, FEC President Matsuzawa and Senior Managing Director Yushita were invited to a dinner hosted by H. E. Dr. Reza Nazar Ahari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Japan, at the Iranian Ambassador’s residence. From the Iranian embassy, Mr. Mahmoud Reza Radboui, First Secretary and 2 other persons joined the dinner.

Ambassador Nazar Ahari welcomed the FEC people and said, ” We appreciate FEC’s continuous effort to cooperate with us since Iran faced a severe international environment. Circumstances surrounding the Iran have been greatly changed. I would like to ask FEC’s support for the development of Japan-Iran relations when all of the economic restrictions against Iran were removed.” Mr.Matsuzawa thanked for the invitation to the dinner and said,” Japanese and Iranians have similar chemistry. We respect the history, culture and the arts. We also work actively. I would like to support for further development of Japan -Iran relations. ” They enjoyed Persian cuisine, exchanging views on various topics including the current situation and future prospects of Iran, environment issue and tourism.
