FEC

On March 24, by an invitation of the Embassy of Indonesia in Japan, FEC President Matsuzawa and Mr. Yamaguchi, Chairman of FEC Japan-ASEAN Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (Chairman of the Board of AJINOMOTO Co., Inc.)  paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, at the Hotel New Otani Tokyo, during his official working visit to Japan. From Indonesia side Coordinating Economic Minister Sofyan Djalil, Trade Minister Rachmat Gobel and other high rank government officials attended. From Japan side 28 people attended including Mr. Tanizaki, Ambassador of Japan to Indonesia and Former Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Fukuda, Chairman of Japan Indonesia Association. Mr. Fukuda and 2 other Japanese attendees made welcome remarks and Indonesian President Mr. Joko Widodo appreciated the meeting with Japanese leaders. After the meeting, they moved to a separate room and attended the Indonesia business forum which was held with around 1000 attendees.
