FEC

FEC sent the 9^th FEC Delegation to Viet Nam from 29^th September for 9days. The delegation, headed by Mr. Yoshihiko Nakagaki, Chairman of FEC Japan – Viet Nam Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee (Honorary Counselor of Electric Power Development Co., Ltd), consisted of 20 FEC members. The Delegation visited Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh and Can Tho.

They continuously held the courtesy meeting with President H. E. Mr. Truong Tan Sang for four years. FEC Delegation had various fruitful exchanges of views with high-ranking government officials including H. E. Mr. Dang Huy Dong, Vice Minister of Planning and Investment andH. E. Mr. Truong Chi Trung, Vice Minister of Finance. They also had meeting with executives of regional People’s Committees and business leaders of Japanese Chambers of Commerce. The members also enjoyed sightseeing of world heritage sites. In Can Tho Municipality, they visited Can Tho University and a rice milling factory among others. It was a meaningful opportunity for the members to deepen the overall understanding of Vietnam.

PM= Sightseeing at Hanoi. Dinner hosted by Mr. Jun Yanagi, Chargés d’affaires, Embassy of Japan.

〈30th〉　AM= Meeting with Mr. Vu Tien Loc, Chairman and President of Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

PM= Meeting with H. E. Mr. Dang Huy Dong, Vice Minister of Planning and Investment. Courtesy call on H. E. Mr. Truong Tan Sang, President of Viet Nam.

〈1st Oct.〉　AM= Meeting with H. E. Mr. Nguyen Cam Tu, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. Meeting with H. E. Mr. Truong Chi Trung, Vice Minister of Finance.

PM= Meeting withH. E. Mr. Le Quoc Doanh, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

〈2nd〉　AM= Depart from Hanoi for Da Nang. Lunch with Members of Japanese Business Association in Da Nang.

PM= Sightseeing at Hoi An. Meeting with H. E. Mr. Van Huu Chien, Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee.

〈3rd〉　AM=Visit to Pulchra Resort.

PM= Depart from Da Nang for Ho Chi Minh. Move to Can Tho.

〈4th〉　AM= Meeting with Party’s Committee of Can Tho City. Visit to Can Tho University.

PM=Visit to Trung An Corporation. Visit to O Mon Thermal Power Plant, CASEAMEX and Can Tho Airport. Dinner hosted by Party’s Committee of Can Tho City.

〈5th〉　PM＝Sightseeing at Cu Chi. Move to Ho Chi Minh.

〈6th〉　AM=Meeting with Mr. Satoshi Nakajima, Consul General, Consulate General of Japan in HCMC and representatives of the Japanese Bussiness Association of HCMC. Lunch hosted by Mr. Nakajima, Consul General, Consulate General of Japan in HCMC.

PM=Visit to AEON MALL. Depart from Ho Chi Minh for Narita.

〈7th〉　AM= Arrive at Narita International Airport.
