FEC accepted 19 Vietnam Communist Party executive candidates for 14 days from August 31 to September 13 by the request from commission for external relations of central committee of the communist party of Vietnam. The party headed by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Phong, Vice Chairman of commission for external relations of central committee of the communist party of Vietnam visited Japan as part of the executive candidates training project by the Vietnamese government’s “Program165″. During their stay, they received lectures on Japan’s international and regional relations from experts in the fields concerned, and met with representatives of political parties and visited relevant government  ministries. They also deepened knowledge of Japanese culture and tradition, visiting typical tourist places, such as Mount Fuji, Kamakura and Asakusa.
