FEC

FEC sent the 1st FEC Central Asia mission to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan from 16th to 25th July 2014. The delegation, headed by Mr.Kenichi Matsumoto, Chairman of FEC Japan- Central Asia Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee, CEO of Sakura Global Group, Sakura Global Holding Co., Ltd consisted of 16 FEC members.

In Uzbekistan, the Delegation met H. E. Mr. Ikramov, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, H. E. Mr. Ganiev, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, H. E. Ms. Saidova, Minister of Economy, H. E. Mr. Alimov, Minister of Health, and high-ranking government officials and had various fruitful exchanges of views with them. They deepened thier understanding about the investment environment, infrastructure development and culture, through the meeting hosted by the Uzbekistan government and visit to the world heritage city of Samarkand by High-speed train “Afrosiyob”.

They moved to Kazakhstan, having meetings with H. E. Mr. Isekeshev, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, H. E. Ms. Karibekova, Minister for Healthcare, and high-ranking government officials, visiting medical institute for chemical research and deepened friendship and the mutual understanding.

〈17th〉AM= Meeting with H. E. Mr. Elyor Majidovich Ganiev, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade.

PM=Meeting with H. E. Ms. Galina K. Saidova, Minister of Economy. Meeting with H. E. Mr. Adkham Ilkhamovich Ikramov, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, and H. E. Mr. Anvar V. Alimov, Minister of Health. Visit to rehabilitation center. Dinner hosted by H. E. Mr. Fumihiko Kato, Ambassador of Japan to Uzbekistan.

〈18th〉AM= Uzbekistan – Japan Round Table Conference, hosted by Uzbekistan government.

PM=Meeting with Mr. Nodir Sultan-Mukhamedov, Executive Officer of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. Meeting with H.E. Mr. Murad E. Askarov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Visit to the Japanese Cemetery. Dinner hosted by Uzbekistan government.

〈19th〉AM= Move to Samarqand by High-speed train, “Afrosiab”.

PM=Visit to Shahrisabz.

〈20th〉AM= Sightseeing.

PM= Sightseeing. Move to Toshkent by High-speed train, “Afrosiab”.

〈21st〉PM=Depart from Toshkent for Astana. Dinner hosted by H. E. Mr. Masayoshi Kamohara, Ambassador of Japan to Kazakhstan.

〈22nd〉AM=Visit to National Scientific Medical Research Center.

PM= Visit to The National Research Center for Maternal and Child Health. Meeting with Mr. Sabr Yessimbekov, Executive Secretary for International Cooperation of National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan. Music exchange event, hosted by Mr. Kenichi Matsumoto, Leader of the delegation.

〈23rd〉AM=Visit to Astana New City. Meeting with H. E. Ms. Salidat Karibekova, Minister for Healthcare.

PM=Visit to Astana City Hall. Meeting with H.E. Mr. Bakhytzhan M. Jaxaliyev, Vice Minister for Industry and New Technologies. Meeting with Mr. Kairat Karmanov, Deputy Chairman of Kaznex Invest National Export & Investment Agency. Dinner hosted by Mr. Kenichi Matsumoto, Leader of the delegation.
